Marine RFQ evidence

Know what is visible, what is confirmed, and what still needs proof.

Raft Inflatable separates public listing signals from supplier-written confirmation and current order evidence. This keeps model, packing, inspection, certificate, and delivery assumptions visible before deposit.

Evidence levels

Three checks before a product becomes payment-ready

01

Public source signal

Listing titles, visible photos, public option labels, and marketplace fields help screen a product. They do not prove the selected option, material, packing, or current availability.

02

Supplier confirmation

Before quote approval, request the selected model, option, quantity, accessory set, lead time, carton data, and delivery term in one written supplier reply.

03

Order-specific evidence

Before release, qualified orders should confirm current product photos, accessory layout, packing photos, carton count, gross weight, labels, and relevant test or inspection evidence.

Product-route proof

Evidence should match the selected marine product

Product routeWhat a buyer should verify
Inflatable boatsHull size, tube and floor construction, chambers, load, transom or motor fit, accessories, carton size, and gross weight.
SUP boardsBoard size and thickness, drop-stitch or PVC construction, accessory package, graphics, carton dimensions, and volume weight.
Rescue equipmentMission profile, visible color, load and floor requirements, safety accessories, documentation, lead time, and delivery deadline.
Propulsion systemsThrust or power, voltage, mount compatibility, controller, battery and charger scope, carton data, and shipping restrictions.

Evidence boundary: general production or listing photos are references only unless the supplier identifies the selected model and current order. Final evidence scope must be written into the RFQ or order summary.

Buyer questions

Answers that can be checked before payment

Does a public product page prove the final specification?

No. Public pages support initial screening. The exact model, selected option, material, accessories, packing, lead time, and delivery term still need written confirmation before payment.

What evidence should I request before shipment?

Request current product and accessory photos, carton marks, packed cartons, carton count, gross-weight evidence, and any agreed inflation, function, or inspection records relevant to the selected product.

How are certificates handled?

A certificate or report should be checked against the exact model, component version, destination market, and private-label changes. A generic file must not be assumed to cover every configuration.
