Prepare Logo Artwork for an Inflatable Boat
Confirm placement, dimensions, color reference and sample sign-off.

Start with an accurate placement drawing
Show the intended surface, logo size and its relationship to handles, seams, valves or other features. A picture of another boat is not a precise production instruction. Keep placement decisions linked to the selected model.
Provide usable color and artwork files
Supply the best available source artwork and agreed color references. Ask whether line thickness, gradients or small lettering affect the proposed process. Do not assume that a screen preview accurately represents printed color on the actual material.
Agree the proofing process
Identify whether a digital layout, material swatch or physical sample is needed. Record who approves each item and what constitutes final sign-off. Keep the approval record with the order so later substitutions can be evaluated.
Freeze artwork before scheduling
Confirm the approved artwork revision, printing method and any package labels before production dates are finalized. Changes after approval may affect preparation and timing; the supplier should state those effects rather than leaving them implicit.
Procurement checklist
- Mark logo dimensions and placement.
- Agree color references and file revision.
- Record proof approval before production release.
Frequently asked questions
Can a logo be placed over any part of a boat?
Placement must be reviewed against the selected construction and fittings; it is not universally interchangeable.
Does a digital proof guarantee the final printed color?
No. Discuss material and physical proofing requirements when color accuracy matters.
