Settle these before comparing the grid

  1. Construction: single-layer, double-layer or fusion drop-stitch. This is the main driver of both stiffness and cost, and is often left out of a listing.
  2. Use: all-round, touring, fishing and racing shapes are not interchangeable, and each suits a different rider weight.
  3. Pack contents: pump, paddle, leash, fin set and bag are frequently quoted separately. Compare the complete carton, not the board.
  4. OEM: artwork, logo placement, colourway and MOQ have to be settled before a per-unit price is meaningful.
